The launch fee covers the real work of getting the site designed, staged, configured and launched properly. Each launch includes one initial draft and up to two structured revision rounds. Prefer to keep upfront cost low? Lite has a reduced launch fee with a 12-month plan. Starter, Growth and Pro can use the $0 launch fee option with a 12-month website management plan.
Need something custom? Get in touch. Extra update or custom work is currently billed at NZ$140 per hour including GST, with a one-hour minimum per request. After the first hour, half-hour increments can be used where appropriate. Rates may change, and extra work is confirmed before it starts. Domain registration and third-party email/mailbox costs are billed separately if required.
Stripe fees, paid tools, third-party platform costs and complex custom payment flows are quoted or billed separately where required.
Plans are designed so most clients never need additional hourly work.

Is there a setup fee?
We use a launch fee rather than a traditional setup fee. The launch fee covers the initial website build, setup, staging, launch coordination and first-version optimisation. Lite has a reduced launch fee with a 12-month plan. Starter, Growth and Pro can use the $0 launch fee option with a 12-month website management plan.
Can I start with $0 upfront?
Yes, for Starter, Growth and Pro. The launch fee can be waived when you choose a 12-month website management plan. Lite has a reduced NZ$199 launch fee with a 12-month plan rather than a $0 launch fee.
Can I cancel monthly?
If you choose the flexible monthly option and pay the launch fee, your plan runs month to month. If you choose the reduced Lite launch fee or $0 launch fee option, the plan has a 12-month minimum term.
What does the launch fee cover?
It covers the initial build work, site setup, staging version, DNS/domain configuration, launch coordination, first-version optimisation, one initial draft, and up to two structured revision rounds. Domain registration, paid third-party tools and email/mailbox provider costs are billed separately if required.
How many revisions are included before launch?
Each launch includes one initial draft and up to two structured revision rounds. A revision round means one collected batch of feedback, so the project keeps moving cleanly. Extra revision rounds, added pages, major direction changes, or work outside the agreed scope is billed separately at the current hourly rate, with a one-hour minimum.
How long does it take to launch?
A simple first version can usually move quickly once content, domain access, and direction are confirmed.
Can we review changes before they go live?
Yes. Each site has a password-protected staging version so you can review launches and changes before they are published to the live website.
What happens if we leave?
We will be reasonable and help with a clean transition. Your domain, business content, supplied branding, photos and third-party accounts remain yours. We do not automatically provide source code, private repositories, internal tooling or deployment systems unless agreed in writing, but export or transition work can be discussed and quoted if needed.
