Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 7 June 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website. Separate written terms, proposals, statements of work, or service agreements may apply to our paid services and will take priority for those services where they conflict with this page.
Website Information
The information on this website is general information only. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is complete, error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific circumstances.
No Professional Advice
Website, SEO, security, analytics, and compliance information on this site is not legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. You should get professional advice before relying on it for important decisions.
Enquiries and Concepts
A free homepage concept, quote, or initial discussion does not create an obligation for either party to proceed. Pricing and availability may change until confirmed in writing.
Service Pricing and Launch Options
Our website management plans may be offered with either a flexible monthly option or a $0 launch fee option. Flexible monthly clients pay the agreed launch fee for the initial build and launch work, then pay the monthly website management fee.
If the $0 launch fee option is chosen, the launch fee is waived and the client agrees to a 12-month minimum website management plan. The launch fee covers work such as the initial build, setup, staging, DNS/domain configuration, launch coordination and first-version optimisation.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, each launch includes one initial draft and up to two structured revision rounds before launch. A revision round means one collected batch of feedback. Extra revision rounds, added pages, major direction changes after approval, extensive image or copy work, or other work outside the agreed scope may be billed separately.
Extra update or custom work is currently billed at NZ$140 per hour including GST, with a one-hour minimum per request, unless agreed otherwise. After the first hour, half-hour increments may be used where appropriate. Hourly rates may change, but extra work will be confirmed before it starts. Domain registration, paid third-party tools, and third-party email or mailbox provider costs are separate and are billed separately if required.
Basic domain registration or renewal may be billed as an annual domain payment. This covers the agreed standard domain for the relevant yearly registration period. Domain registration payments are separate from website management plans, may be subject to registry or registrar price changes, and are generally not refundable once the domain has been registered, renewed, or transferred.
Client Content, Website Code, and Handover
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, clients retain ownership of their business content, supplied copy, supplied branding, supplied photos, domain names, and third-party accounts they own or control.
We retain ownership of reusable code, templates, components, design systems, internal tools, workflows, scripts, private repositories, and deployment systems used to deliver website services. A client may use and display the delivered website as part of the agreed website management service while the relevant fees are paid.
We are not automatically required to provide source code, private repositories, internal tooling, deployment credentials, or full project files unless this has been agreed in writing. If a client leaves, we will act reasonably to help transfer domains, content, and client-owned accounts. Export, handover, migration, or transition work may be quoted or billed separately.
Service Availability
Websites and online services depend on third-party platforms, internet providers, DNS, email providers, browsers, devices, and other systems outside our direct control. We aim to use reliable providers and sensible practices, but we do not guarantee continuous or fault-free availability.
Third-Party Services
We may use or refer to third-party services such as Cloudflare, Resend, PostHog, Stripe, GitHub, Google, and others. Those services are controlled by their own providers and may have their own terms, privacy policies, pricing, limits, outages, and changes.
